What the Fluff?!?!

Today's look was inspired by a favorite fashion blogger of mine, Sheryl from Walk In Wonderland. I had seen her rock a very similar furry bag on her blog and when I clicked the link to buy it, the store was sold out. I emailed the store to see if they would restock this item but they said no. I was so sad but I figured if I can't buy it, I can make it!!! So I went to my local fabric store JoAnn's and they had a few different fur's but they all looked very thin and cheap. I asked all my creative peeps where I can find this specific fabric but no one knew. I watched a DIY tutorial from another fashion blogger I follow Kier Mellour which gave me the idea to use my faux fur sheepskin rug I purchased a few years ago. She made her bag with glue but I sewed mine together. I borrowed a long chain from one of my other bags and this is how this baby was born. Camel Vest

When I first laid eyes on this Zara camel vest I was in love! Every morning I would go to Zara.com and make sure my baby was still available for purchase. I couldn't bring myself to spend $199 plus tax on this precious gem because of the wedding expenses we had. For Christmas I told everyone if they wanted to get me a gift a Zara gift card would make me the happiest girl in the world. For Christmas I received a few gift cards which was enough to buy the vest of my dreams. On December 26th I looked online and found the vest was all sold out. My dreams were crushed and I was very sad to say the least. I had given up all hope! A few days later I went to the Zara store with my fiancé to spend my christmas cards and I couldn't help but think of the vest that got away. I looked around the store but couldn't find anything I loved. As we were leaving my fiancé tells me to ask a sales person if they have the vest in stores. I asked and they had one left. I was so overjoyed with happiness. It was like Cinderella trying on her glass slipper for the first time. The fit was perfect and I received a few compliments from random strangers who said that I had to buy that vest because it looked fabulous on me. I love happy endings and I hope you do too because I obviously took this baby home with me and we lived happily ever after. The end! LOL

Inspiration: Ralph & Russo SS15

I am feeling so inspired by the new Spring/Summer 2015 collection by a designer I have never heard of ... Ralph & Russo. As you all already know, I am getting married in a few months and a few of the  pieces from this collection remind me of wedding gowns fit for a beautiful spring wedding. This collection is so dreamy and each piece has its own unique flare that differentiates it from the next piece while still being a very cohesive collection because of the beautiful color palette the designer went with. I'm in love with them all!!! Which dress would you chose?? Hope this inspires you too!!!

Express Lane

I had this stunning look sitting in the vault because I wanted to show it closer to spring for some inspiration. I am super in love with my multi-colored cardigan from the Lookbook Store. It is a must have piece for spring and summer. Every time I wear it I feel so fabulous and summery! I can't wait to wear this baby more often this year! 

On another note we picked (more accurately, I picked) the colors of our wedding and I'm so excited to see it all come together. It was so stressful because you can't please everyone and in the end I have to please two people, David and myself. We chose mint green and light blue for the bridesmaids and accents of silver. I love light colors for a Spring wedding. Can't wait for the big day!!

Lace & Pumps

When I came across this little lace number, I knew it had to be mine!! I've been looking for a black lace skirt since the trend came out in 2013. I know I'm always late but like I tell my fiancé "I do what I want when I want" and I don't care if it was in trend last season. Haha! (I hope that last statement didn't come across angry because it wasn't) 

My overall opinion of this skirt is its really light and very chic looking. It's a great bargain for what your getting. If you want the skirt to fit a little snug I would suggest going a size down which is exactly what I did. I tried on a medium and it was a little too loose for my liking but the small fit just right. It all depends on the look your going for. I decided to go all black because I was inspired by a look I found on Pinterest by Viva Luxury. 

The wedding is approaching quickly and I have a million and one things to do but I'm trying my hardest not to go all bridezilla on everyone. I can see why women loose their marbles!! I left a few very important things to the last minute like hair and makeup but I think I found someone who is perfect. Hopefully it all works out. I still haven't found the right heels for the wedding but that's the last thing on my mind. While all of this is going on my fiancé and I are trying to find the perfect apartment but it's so hard because most of them want us to move in now and we want to move in closer to our wedding date. I won't bore you with anymore details but I just wanted to let you guys know I'm trying my hardest not to neglect the blog. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
