Holiday Spirit

Jacket: H&M / Top: H&M / Tights: JCPenney / Boots: JCPenney (similar here) / Scarf: Target / Bag: Louis Vuitton

Can you believe I have lived in LA for all of my life and I have never been to LA live for the holiday's.  Crazy, I know!!! Finally this year my boyfriend and I decided to go for date night and it was just magical. I loved how bright and sparkly everything looked! The huge Christmas tree in the middle of the ice skating rink was my favorite! I wanted to go ice skating so bad but the line was way too long. They had a nice system going where they would allow so many people to ice skate for about half an hour and then they would kick everyone off and let the next batch of people come in.

We wanted to eat at Wolf Gang Puck for dinner but of course they had a long wait time. So we put our names down and walked around until they sent us a text which was about 30 mins later. We had the best seat in the house on their patio outside right in front of the Christmas tree and ice skating rink. We ordered our favorite wings (picture below) and my favorite cucumber martini (picture below) in town!

XO,
Shirley

Sparkle for the New Year

Jacket: Angel  / Dress: Foreign Exchange (similar here) / Belt: Windsor / Heels: Old (similar here) / Earrings: Icing

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with loved one's!!!! I had such a busy but joyful Christmas with my family and friends. I must admit I'm a little exhausted because my parents are separated and have since remarried so I have to celebrate Christmas with both families. I also celebrated Christmas with my boyfriends family twice and thankfully it all worked out. I had to squeeze two Christmas dinners on Christmas Eve and a Christmas lunch and dinner on Christmas day. A lot of eating and drinking happened on those two days so I am currently detoxifying my body for Martini night with my friends this Saturday.

I can't wait for New Year's and I love the idea of sparkling on such a fun and festive night. I added a few sparkly pieces on a neutral wintery white dress with a thin jacket because I know it will be cold that night. If you couldn't tell I am obsessed with white, especially this white dress because it has a small train on the back like a wedding dress would.

Have You Been Naughty this Year???

Coat: H&M / Dress: MNG by Mango via JCPenney / Belt: Foreign Exchange (old) / Heels: Charlotte Russe / Earrings: Forever 21 (old)

Dear Santa, this year I have been a little naughty!!! I wanted to dress in all black to reflect my naughty side. I decided to wear black on black with some gold accessories to add a little pop to the outfit. This is a great outfit for Christmas, a holiday party, or a just because party. I'm so in love with the dress from JCPenney because it fits just like a glove! Need I say more??? Have a wonderful Monday loves! XOXO

Minus the Leather

Jacket: Express / Top: old / Scarf: JCPenney / Pants: Levis / Heels: Windsor / Purse: Forever 21

One of my favorite jackets this fall has been the camel colored jacket with the faux leather shoulder panels from Express. Of course, on my budget I couldn't allow myself to spend $148.00 plus tax on this piece. I waited for some kind of sale to happen and they are currently having a great sale of 50% off everything on their websiteor in store's!!! Another favorite of mine are the lace up black heels from Windsor, which are the most comfortable pair of shoes ever!!

Shorts in December

Kimono: Foreign Exchange / Top: Foreign Exchange / Shorts: H&M / Sandals: H&M / Necklace and Cuff: Forever 21

California has crazy weather!!! I thought Summer in November would be the last post I would shoot in 80 degree weather, but I was very wrong. Since the weather is warm enough I decided to rock this tribal print kimono with fringe and my criss cross tank bodysuit. The bodysuit can also be paired with a skirt for a night out on the town with some girlfriends. Also, Today I have a very exciting guest on the blog!!!! He is the size of a nugget with a heart of gold and very hairy! He loves to be outdoors and enjoy's long walks on the beach. Ladies take a number because he is taken. :)
