I promise I didn't mean to match the background with my skirt but it gave us such beautiful pictures I couldn't complain. My fiancé and I decided to have dinner at Bottega Louie in Los Angeles because I am obsessed with the delicious macaroons (my favorite are salted caramel and strawberry) which are baked fresh daily. In my personal opinion I would not have dinner there again because it's over priced and not the best tasting food. I had the Louie burger with cheese and bacon with some fries and so did David (my fiancé). At first I really enjoyed it because the bacon was so good but then I realized how large the burger was because the bun was so big and dense which made it hard to eat and swallow. I'm sorry for all the weird details but the moral of the story is to eat more macaroons because they are amazing.

Today's outfit is brought to you by my lovely friend the cheetah (no cheetah's were harmed in the making of my skirt). I was immediately attracted to this skirt because the pattern and the color were like nothing I had ever seen before. They compliment each other amazingly and my biggest task was to pair it with the right piece to show its beauty. I went with a very simple sleeveless black top and some edgy strappy heels. RAWR!!

I am very excited because David and I have planned a mini getaway to Morongo Hotel and Casino in Cabazon which is near Palm Springs. I can't wait to relax by the pool in 95 degree weather while sipping on a refreshing cocktail and working on my tan. I will definitely take a few pictures to kick off the lifestyle part of the blog. I can't wait!!!! I need this relaxation to kick off summer and the World Cup. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

XO,
Shirley
